First off, I’m convinced, THERE ARE NO FEMALE BOERBOELS LIKE ZIMBIE!
Zimbie was imported from South Africa in 2020. Zimbie is very gentle for a tall dog weighing 170-175lbs. Somehow at the same time, she is our sweetest and most fierce dog. Zimbie is athletic and powerful. Zimbie can jump into the back of a pickup truck with little effort and grace. Her size, growl, and bark puts fear in the most confident delivery drivers. If I had to take a dog to war with me, 100% she would be the one!
With the birth of Zimbie’s litter on 7.11.21 we learned another great trait of hers, she’s a terrific mother. This boerboel is very protective of her babies! Zimbie doesn’t want to take breaks from mothering her pups. Forcing her outside to potty so she doesn’t hold it all day is an absolute battle. She wants to get back to her babies as fast as she can. I’m convinced Zimbie would mother a baby possum if we put one in there with her.
Zimbie received an 87.7% appraisal score and won dog of the day at the Tomball, Texas SABBS appraisal on 10/16/22. One of her son’s Peterbuilt Zeus III (15 months old) received a 87.4% getting highest appraised male. All of her babies have turned into outstanding boerboels.
